5.0"Mark Mickley is a credit to the Mini sales force. He is a very articulate and polished, low-key sales person with great communications skills, who has clearly worked hard to understand the technical specifications of the autos he represents. I don't like high-pressure sales tactics, and a good product such as Mini should sell itself as long as the sales advisor knows his product. Mark's knowledge of the Mini product line was extensive. His delivery tutorial was very impressive and clear. I would recommend him to anyone interested in considering a Mini purchase. In addition, our family has owned a 2001, 2006, and now 2012 Mini, two of which were purchased at Mini of Annapolis. My husband also purchased a 2008 BMW M3 at the BMW dealership under the same ownership. The 2006 Cooper S was a pre-owned vehicle purchased elsewhere, but it was serviced at Mini of Annapolis, and all of our service experiences at this dealership have been exceptional. Even though the 2006 was not purchased at this dealership, we were always offered a new Mini or BMW as a loaner when the car was in for service. That alone scored big points with us. MINI of Annapolis gave me a more than fair trade offer on my previous MINI (>$2000 more than either of the other two area dealers), so rather than waste my time haggling over that aspect of the purchase, I had a clear idea of what I would be paying up front. 4.5"@ 4 Mo, 7,200 mi, had a coolant concern. Live 60 mi from dealership.....Mini-Annapolis. Robert Korzol handled issue and scheduling for Mini to check for poss. coolant loss, showed concern, and updated me regularly while I waited. All reported ok. Only concern: I asked about buying a bottle of extra coolant, in case of future needs. Robert advised me to use Mini-Specific coolant,Pre-Mixed, and it was in stock in their parts dept. When I went to buy the coolant I was advised there was no Mini-Specific coolant; it's BMW, and it's not Pre-Mixed. I asked again to be sure before I bought. I would get a operator who kept transferring me, and no one ever answered. Finally the operator took my name and number and said someone from mini service would call me back, but no one ever did. 5.0"the reason i had my mini in for service turns out that the engine oil was very low, car was running and sounding rough when cold. apparently there is no low engine oil indicator on any mini, the service light/indicator never came on, in fact it showed i was not due for service for another 4300 miles. my service advisor, Robert, was to check with the warranty administrator to see if this would be covered. i have not heard the decision on this yet." 2.0"I initially had to dispute a denial of repair on a warranty issue. After it was approved later it was promised the job would be done in a "couple of hours". I got the car back six days later, after being repeatedly being promised otherwise. I was promissed a loaner but when I arrived none had been scheduled for me. I did get one and found other peoples belongings on the back seat. The engine check light, in the loaner, came on and stayed on. No appology was offered when I finally picked up my car."
